Don't worry, there's no dongles!

While installing, you will need to enter a key which you received at the time you paid for the library (see tutorial video - "buying CS"). This serial is then checked against our server, and embedded along with your name/address into the samples themselves - as a completely inaudible, user specific watermark.

You only need to do this once, at the very start of the installation process. Once you've punched in those details, you never have to worry about copy protection with this library ever again.

Remember, the samples have your personal details embedded in them - yet only we can read the watermark. This ensures that your library doesn't fall into the wrong hands, and if we do find it on torrent/file sharing sites, we can take the necessary legal action against the uploader.

The recommended way to use CS on a single computer setup is by composing using the stage mic patches, and simply enabling the other mic distances while rendering. To achieve this kind of workflow, we recommend a minimum of:

• Quad Core 2.66ghz Intel CPU
• 4GB RAM
• 23GB disk space (SATA drive recommended)
• Kontakt 3.5 or above
  

It doesn't particularly matter what type of hard disk drive you use, as the majority of the library will need to be loaded into RAM. Obviously faster is better, although anything you buy these days will be more than enough to stream whatever isn't completely loaded into RAM, eg. the staccato and pizzicato patches. Spreading the sections over multiple hard drives is also a viable option.

The Advanced Install Utility is a application designed to handle the arduous task of downloading and authorizing a large sample library.

By using lossless compression and other advanced packing algorithms, we've managed to cut down the size of the sample library download from 35Gb to 11Gb. Using a fast internet connection means that the total download and install time is less than that of copying from a set of DVDs - and it's instantly delivered!

Upon purchase, you can click 'Follow Order Details', and click on the link in your invoice to start downloading the small Advanced Installer Utility to your hard drive. Alternatively, you will recieve a separate email from the store which contains a link to download the installer. Once you've downloaded the installer to your harddrive, open it and follow the steps on the screen. Your serial number can be found on the invoice (labelled as a purchase code).
